Navigazione Lago Maggiore organizes countless boat trips to see the Piedmontese and Swiss sides of the lake, to see La Rocca from the open water or to approach the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. At the pier of Angera you will find all the necessary information. You can also rent a small motorboat and choose your own route.

If the morning breezes or the evening winds make you want to experience the thrill of sailing, the nearest place to go is the Sailing Club at Ispra. If you want to get away from shore to swim, remember that access to swimming is only allowed from the beaches of Noce and Nocciola and you must stay in safe waters. Every year a swimming competition is organized between the two shores and there are many rowing regattas on the lake. Check the events to keep yourself updated. 

On the waters of Lake Maggiore our rowers train at the Associazione sportiva Canottieri De Bastiani, and they have won multiple national and international titles.
